I'm a software architect based in Hong Kong, currently working as a Software Architect at Hero Plus Group, where I design and build payment infrastructure serving merchants across Southeast Asia.
My work spans the full stack, from designing PCI-compliant multi-gateway payment systems handling transactions across Thailand, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Singapore, to building React frontends and managing AWS infrastructure.
Before Hero Plus, I worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Hong Kong, developing AR therapeutic games for stroke rehabilitation using computer vision and Unity. I also co-founded Solvfit, a skill-based talent matching platform.
I studied Computer Science at HKU, where I built a foundation in distributed systems, machine learning, and software architecture. Outside of work, I'm interested in fintech, developer tools, and building products that solve real problems.
Hero Plus Group
Building payment infrastructure across Southeast Asia. Full-stack development with Ruby on Rails, React, and AWS.
The University of Hong Kong
Worked at HKU's Sport AI Lab (SAIL), developing AI-powered solutions for human posture analysis and stroke rehabilitation. Built real-time computer vision algorithms for object recognition, body tracking, and motion analysis using C++ and Python. Architected interactive AR rehabilitation games integrating pose estimation and gesture recognition.
Solvfit
Co-founded a skill-based hiring platform that replaced resume screening with technical challenges. Led end-to-end product development from ideation to MVP, including system architecture, backend infrastructure, and frontend implementation.
Kin Technology
Built production frontend for a health tech startup, collaborating with the UI/UX design team. Developed the web application using React and Next.js with TypeScript, implementing server-side rendering for improved SEO and performance.
myclassroom
Built an image classification microservice for an edtech platform's doubt-solving feature, enabling automatic subject detection from student-submitted question images. Developed and trained a CNN model using TensorFlow, optimized for accuracy and inference speed.
FIS
Built a customer sentiment analysis pipeline for analyzing user comments and feedback at a global financial services company. Developed Python scripts for data cleaning, preprocessing, and visualization using pandas and NumPy.
Lapchee Rotaract Club
Disaster & Humanitarian ReliefOrganized UNHCR talk on refugees in Hong Kong. Contributed to a Dimsum event providing elderly residents of local care homes with a shared dining experience, fostering community and social engagement.
